Freestyle Scratch Battle
Rules:

8 participants are required for the battle to go. If we have more than 8, there will be a preliminary, qualification round.

Head to head elimination format.
.
Two beats per matchup with three beats for the finals.
.
Participants will trade two rounds of 8 bars of scratching per beat.
.
Winners will be determined by a judging panel (TBA).
.
Tie breakers may be optioned.
.
Beats will be chosen randomly from a variety of styles including electro, breaks, boom-bap, trap, drum&bass and some weird stuff.
.
Two fitty cash for the winner and a bunch of scratchy swag to go around.

Format:

Bring gear (turntable, mixer, records, needles, cables, etc.), and plug into to the “octagon” or ask to share.
